Dr. Eduardo R. Randrup is a native of Argentina and has been practicing medicine in the New Orleans area for many years.
He specialized in general surgery, urology, andrology and reproductive endocrinology. He has had a lifelong interest in nutrition.
He is now delighted to help patients with obesity by using incretin mimetics, a newer type of medications that induce loss of weight, lower blood glucose and hemoglobin A1c, and have cardioprotective and neuroprotective properties.
Dr. Randrup is fully bilingual English-Spanish.

Dr. Sion Kim joins Big Easy Weight Loss with a strong background in family and preventive medicine. Dr. Kim currently works as a Primary Care Physician in Las Vegas, NV. She has previously served as an Assistant Professor at Baylor College of Medicine in Texas. Dr. Kim earned her MD from The University of Texas Medical School at Houston and completed her residency in Family Medicine. She holds a Bachelor of Science from Harvard University, where she also pursued secondary studies in Global Health and Health Policy. Dr. Kim is fluent in Korean and conversant in Spanish. Dr. Kim has contributed to multiple peer-reviewed publications and national presentations. She truly enjoys helping her patients reach their target weight through lifestyle modification and medical management. In her spare time, she loves to read good literature and travel around the world with her family.

Dr. Thomas Pentzer’s career in healthcare spans multiple roles and specialties. Prior to attending medical school, his professional experience includes years spent as a hyperbaric technologist, polysomnography technician, and EMT, gaining life experience and perspectives that inform his approach to medicine. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology with Minor in Biology from Lewis-Clark State College, he pursued his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences. He completed Family Medicine and Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine residencies and is board certified in both specialties. His academic contributions include co-authoring peer-reviewed papers, contributing to textbooks, and presenting at national conferences. Dr. Pentzer also holds leadership roles with state and national organizations.

Dr. Jo Ann Beltre is a board-certified physician based in New Hampshire. Her career in healthcare spans more than two decades across pediatrics, urgent care, and preventive medicine. Before founding her own practice, WanderCARE, she served as an urgent care physician and medical director, community pediatrician, and public health physician, gaining firsthand experience in both acute and longitudinal patient care. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Zoology from Connecticut College and her Doctor of Medicine from Jefferson Medical College. Her clinical work reflects a deep commitment to accessible, evidence-based medicine, and she continues to integrate these values into her current role at Big Easy Weight Loss. Known for her compassionate, patient-centered approach, Dr. Jo helps individuals build lasting, healthy habits and renewed confidence in their well-being. She is Bilingual in English and Spanish. Dr. Jo is available to seeing patients in New Hampshire and Massachusetts.

Dr. Elizabeth M. Goodly is a family & internal medicine doctor in New Orleans, Louisiana. She received her medical degree from American University of Integrative Sciences, Sint Maarten School of Medicine and has been in practice 13 years.

Dr. Lee is a Board-Certified Preventive Medicine Physician, and has years of experience in Lifestyle and Weight Management Medicine as well as Addiction Medicine via telemedicine. She has training in Nutrition and Weight Management and believes that eating a nutritious, plant-based diet as much as possible, regular moderate exercise, adequate sleep and mental wellness is key to optimum health. There is overwhelming evidence that a healthy diet and weight will help prevent diabetes and many other chronic diseases. She will see adult patients, and will help manage other conditions in an integrated management plan with your other providers.

Board Certified Family Medicine Physician dedicated to exemplary patient outcomes by using evidenced based protocols. Strong focus on listening to and addressing patient concerns and answering all questions in terms patients can easily understand. Willingness to work with all members of the medical team and listen to their suggestions and input to improve results and maximize patient satisfaction. Specialized as a family medicine during residency, possessing knowledge various health issues from birth to geriatrics. Adept in all Telehealth services, experiences include hormone replacement therapy, medical weight loss via GLP and non GLP modalities.

Chief Medical Officer (CMO)
As our Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Gabriel Lasala has experience treating patients with GLP1 RA. In his leadership role for Big Easy Weight Loss, Dr. Lasala is establishing standards of care which advance healthcare quality and patient safety.
Dr. Lasala specializes in heart and vascular care, he enjoys the technology that comes with being a cardiologist. Creating a connection with patients is important to Dr. Lasala, his role in empowering and working towards patients health gives great satisfaction.
Dr. Lasala attended medical school at Universidad Nacional De Cordoba in Argentina class of 1984. Residency was completed at the University of Mississippi in 1992 and his Fellowship was at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS in 1995.
